Studio Liability Insurance

Our Studio Liability Insurance is a type of general liability insurance. However, it is geared to provide coverage for home and commercial studios.

Sterling Select began offering Studio Liability insurance, in direct response to requests from music professionals who own or operate recording and lesson studios. This policy supplements our Instrument & Equipment plans by rounding out coverage for full protection with liability claims.

Coverage starts at $425 per year and includes*:

$1,000,000 combined single limit (CSL) per occurrence for bodily injury and property damage

$2,000,000 annual aggregate

$100,000 fire legal liability

There is no deductible for this policy

Special Events Liability

Special Events Liability protects an event producer, promoter or performer from negligence claims for bodily injury or property damage from third parties. These policies cover for short term or one-off events.

Please consult your contracts with venue and/or vendors to ensure you are insuring for the proper limits.

Coverage cost depends on number of performances, type of show, venue capacity, expected attendance, foreign performances, special effects, types of venue and deductible options.

Special Events insurance may be appropriate if you are:

Promoting or producing an event

Shooting or producing a short film

Playing on a string of dates

Vending at a fair

Covering only one night
